Amazing Location & Views

Amazing views from upstairs rooms of the Glenelg River. The Isle of Bags jetty for fishing and launching kayaks is 100m walk from the house. Simsons boat launch & town centre are both 2 minute drives or a leisurely 12 minute walk by the river.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

Four bedrooms. Bed 1 King and ensuite. Bed 2 King or Split King. Bed 3 Queen and ensuite. Bed 4 Queen and ensuite situated downstairs with separate entrance. Bedroom four available only with bookings over 6 guests. The main bathroom is situated upstairs.

Outdoor & Entertaining Areas

Front deck with majestic river views. Rear deck sheltered with BBQ & Japanese Bath House. Side breakfast deck with morning sunshine. Games room in garage area has arcade machine, pool table, table tennis, darts and soccer table.

Kitchen & Dining

Gourmet kitchen with commercial grade appliances. Dual oven, 4 burner gas plate, dishwasher, microwave, 2 fridges, Butlers pantry. Extensive crockery and cutlery. Nespresso coffee machine with selection of pods.

Five Star Luxury & Technology

Wi-Fi through whole house. Mobile reception. TVs in all bedrooms with 70 inch in living area all connected to Netflix. Underfloor heating supported by reverse cycle air conditioning. Luxury bedding with all linen and towels provided.

Entry & Carparking

Entry is via remote key pad. All external doors have key pads with no keys required. 3 Car parking spaces. One garage space with fixed remote control inside house and two driveway spaces. Room for boat (up to 7m) next to driveway.

The house was the perfect winter escape for the family. Underfloor heating was pure luxury on the cool mornings. Kids lived in the games room and entertained themselves. The great south west walk along the river is so beautiful and starts in front of the house. Highly recommend the house for some peace and quiet with the family. Thankyou Kellie and Patrick for one of the most relaxing getaways we have had in years.

When our group arrived the word "Wow!" was echoed time after time. It was a privilege to share what is a special place. River views abound from every window. Enhanced by the local kangaroos bounding across the neighbourhood. The home functions well, has all the amenities one could wish for. It is exceptional in every way. All of us have had a great time exploring the Glenelg River and the local environment (including the pub) capped off by a stay in this lovely home. Thank you for the opportunity. Beautiful, Stylish & nicely decorated house with everything one needs. Host Kellie is very lovely, polite & responded quickly to all our queries. Pin codes are provided on the day of check in & it is a secure accomodation. Stunning river view from the deck. 4 bedrooms, 4 bath/toilets, 3 outdoor area, BBQ, big kitchen & dining, pantry & 20 minutes to Mount Gambier. Close to Nelson CBD. We had a great time there.

From the moment we walked in our family was amazed by the understated luxury. Beautifully designed and furnished. Our teenage girls loved the large beds and TVs in their rooms and we just loved sitting on the deck overlooking the river. On our first day we hired a boat from Nelson boat hire - going up the river is a must with the stunning limestone cliffs. The barbecue and even the gourmet kitchen are perfect for the evening meals . Because of this stunning house we will definitely return. Thank you Kellie and Pat for your helpful and friendly correspondence. You are the epitome of the perfect holiday home owners. Had such a wonderful stay at this property in Jan 2018. Luxury just as it was stated in the write up. The kitchen was so well equipped. The owners, Kellie and Patrick, thought of absolutely everything in the house. The beds were amazingly comfortable. 3 of the 4 bedrooms had bathrooms and and then there was another main bathroom. All the rooms had TVs and the internet connection was great. Phone service a bit sketchy but that added to our ability to just switch off and relax. Nice quiet area with beautiful view of the river. Thanks Kellie and Patrick we absolutely loved it and hope to return for a longer stay soon. 3 nights were just not enough!!
